Write an observation that can be revisited

Keep the public source URL, observation date and specific question together. Instead of writing only good quality, record what was visible: a measurement shown in a photo, a stated material or an unresolved label difference. Separate a seller statement from your own observation.

Resolve uncertainty in the record

State what evidence would settle your question. If a photo does not show a seam clearly, request that view and keep the response. Record whether the response answers the original question instead of replacing the question with a general impression.

Avoid duplicate research

The workbook uses a source ID or source URL to recognise a repeated source. Preserve these fields when updating a note. A different variant may require a different decision even when it comes from the same listing, so retain the selection in the variant field.

Export the working notes

Save entries locally and export a CSV copy before switching devices. Browser-local records are not an online backup. Public product links are suitable references; avoid recording private account links or login details. Recheck current listing information before an order decision.
